April 2012: Withinlee Hollow, Prestbury
The practice was appointed following an earlier unsuccessful application to design this new house on a beautiful, secluded site bordering the Green Belt and an area of Special County Value in Prestbury.

After working closely with hotelier Melia for 12 months Reid is now working jointly with Ian Simpson to deliver the 208 room Innside Hotel at First Street for Ask Developments.

Reid Architects has successfully secured planning permission for a new build, single family dwelling in Chorlton, Manchester.
October 2010: Edge Street, Manchester
Reid Architects has successfully secured planning permission and conservation area consent for 14 new-build apartments and commercial space on Edge Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
October 2010: Highfield House, Prestbury
Highfield, completed in September 2010, was announced a winner at the Northern Design Awards last week in the ‘Best Luxury New Build’ category.

September 2010: Crans-Montana, Switzerland
Reid Architects has been appointed to provide interior design services for a new chalet-hotel in the resort of Crans-Montana, Switzerland. The services include full design and specification of fixtures and fittings for the project which includes a pool and spa facility.

April 2010: The Glen, Bolton
Planning consent has been gained for a new build, single family dwelling in Bolton.
The council’s Conservation Officer commented:
“The design is considered to be a well balanced modern building using a combination of natural and modern materials. Although the building draws some of its influences from modernist architecture with simple clean lines, it still manages to look like a house and sits well within its leafy surroundings. It is suggested the proposal will enhance the area by adding an original and attractive building that reflects a contemporary approach to architecture. It is an individual site and therefore an individual approach is required.”
