Highfield House
Highfield House is a single dwelling on a green belt site in Prestbury. The site sits well back from the road offering the change to design a house in an unusually tranquil setting in this area.
The house is commissioned by developer PH Property Holdings with the brief to Reid to design a house for family living of around 560 sq m /6,000 sq ft.
Externally traditional and contemporary form and material are combined to create a structure that sits comfortably with its landscape and neighbours but still offers a unique home.
Internally spaces overlap and combine to produce a flexible and responsive environment. Seamless spaces can be closed down with sliding panels to give privacy and comfort when required.
The house includes pool, spa and gym and has fully integrated remote control for services and AV.
