Rock Retail Park, Birkenhead
Rock Retail Park is 130,000 sq ft of non-food retail space on a retail park on the outskirts of Birkenhead on the Wirral
The site is close to the historic Cammell Laird shipyard on the River Mersey and Reid used the vision of the large dockyard cranes to create historical references in the entrance canopy structures in response to requests by the planning authority and development corporation.
The work was delivered under a design and build contract with the architect novated.
Design work ranged from buildings to logo and graphic design for the retail park corporate identity.
