As part of a £2million refurbishment of a Grade II Listed former warehouse in the city centre Reid Architects provided planning and interior architectural services to Property Alliance Group.
The brief required an in depth analysis of the public access spaces in the building and the development of a design solution that contributed to the overall tenant perception of a high quality commercial working environment. Contemporary materials and colour are used to create a rational and readable whole from a series of complex independent spaces and level changes in the building.
This approach is complemented by working at the boundaries of the current building regulations to enable removal of physical internal doors and screens to unify the interior common areas.
